Overview

The adult undergraduate program offers a variety of degree options in an accelerated format designed for busy, working adults to complete their Associate of Arts (A.A.) or a Bachelor of Science (B.S.). Depending on the number of credits transferred into the program, the A.A. degree takes approximately 32 months to complete, and the B.S. degree for most majors takes 18-22 months to complete.

New or unique programs
The BS in Psychology with concentrations in Health Psychology and Marriage and Family, equips students with a theoretical and applied understanding of psychological principles to prepare them for graduate study in psychology, entry-level positions in the helping professions, or careers requiring a psychology background. Biblical coursework enables students to apply psychological principles from a Christian perspective.

Program schedule
Courses in a blended format meet on campus approximately six to eight times each semester with the remaining content online. Augsburg’s faculty are committed to providing flexibility while still creating an engaging environment for students and allowing for vocational development.

Credit transfer

A transfer credit evaluation may be requested to determine how your credits will apply to your desired major at Northwestern. Northwestern accepts coursework with grades of C- or higher from accredited and some non-accredited institutions. Classes are evaluated for transfer on a course-by-course basis. Scholarships

Focus Scholarship: open to students who have completed at least one semester at Northwestern and maintained a minimum GPA of 3.25 or higher.

SPHERE Scholarship: open to students who meet certain criteria and have demonstrated financial need.

University of Northwestern General Endowed Scholarship: open to dedicated students with demonstrated financial need.

Tzedakah Scholarship: open to Minnesota residents who have completed one year of education at Northwestern and are enrolled in the Traditional Undergraduate or Adult Undergraduate programs.
