March 2023
Your legislators need to hear from you about the Minnesota State Grant program.
Join us for Day at the Capitol 2023! Meet with your legislators at the State Capitol in St. Paul alongside other student advocates to ask your legislators to support the Minnesota State Grant program — a program that directly supports low- and middle-income college students. Join us for an exciting day of advocacy training and meaningful conversations with your legislators.
What happens at Day at the Capitol?
You'll join student advocates from your school and other Minnesota private colleges for a Minnesota State Grant advocacy and lobbying training. Then you'll meet with legislators, have lunch at the Capitol and attend a Q&A session with public policy experts and policymakers. The Minnesota Private College Council will provide everything you need to be a successful advocate.
