High school students who go to community college before transferring to a four-year institution do so for any number of reasons. Maybe it’s to be closer to home or maybe it’s to better prepared academically. Regardless of the reason, going to a community college first can be the right path for a student, but making the next jump to a four-year college can be tricky.
